2025 FIM MOTOE WORLD CHAMPION
The 2025 FIM MotoE™ World Championship was contested over fourteen races staged across seven rounds in seven different European countries and once again featured Ducati as sole manufacturer.
Setting the first pole of the season in early May at Le Mans in France, Alessandro Zaccone made his title ambitions clear and six months later the twenty-six-year-old Italian would emerge as champion, although he had to fight every step of the way.
A solid third in the first race in Le Mans, Zaccone crashed out of race two on lap two when the leader fell in front of him, but when the series moved to Assen in the Netherlands the following month he ran two-one to move into second in the title chase.
Zaccone maintained second in the points despite disappointing seven-six finishes at round three in Austria, however five-six finishes in Hungary saw him slip to fourth in the standings as the series moved into its second half.
Fighting back up to third with four-eight finishes in Catalunya, victory in the opening race at San Marino backed up with fourth in race two gave him the championship lead before one-four finishes at the final round in Portugal secured the crown.
