2025 FIM JUNIOR SUPERMOTO OF NATIONS WORLD CHAMPIONS
Fielding an all-new team of Gabin Pernat – TM, Raphael Payet – KTM and Adrien Sarda – Honda, the French completed their hat-trick of FIM Junior SuperMoto of Nations titles with a polished performance at the end of September at Vysoké Mýto in the Czech Republic.
With nine nations vying for the coveted crown, France started strongly with Pernat and Payet finishing second and third in the opening race behind Germany’s Eddy Frech – KTM with Sarda in seventh.
With Germany’s Max Orbanz – Honda finishing fifth and Leon Heimann – KTM thirteenth, at the halfway mark France held a seven-point lead ahead of a tie for second between Germany and the Czech Republic’s Jan Ulman – TM, Denis Fligr – Honda and Matej Kokes – Honda who recorded fourth, sixth and ninth-place finishes respectively.
The deciding race was won by Italy’s Mattia Rato – TM who led home Frech, but the FIM Junior SuperMoto of Nations is all about teamwork and with Pernat third, Payet fourth and Sarda seventh, the French trio made it four titles in a row on a total of nineteen points.
With Orbanz finishing eleventh and Heimann eighteenth, Germany ended the day in second on thirty-two points with the Czech Republic taking bronze a further two behind.

2024 FIM JUNIOR SUPERMOTO OF NATIONS WORLD CHAMPIONS
Winners last year of the inaugural FIM Junior SuperMoto of Nations title, the French team of Tim Szalai–TM, Alexis Hoareau–KTM and Tom Bessieres–Honda successfully defended its crown on homeground at the end of September at Circuit Carole near Paris.
With 2023 team members Szalai and Hoareau joined by Bessieres, on paper the French looked extremely strong and this also proved to be the case out on the track as the home nation seized control when Hoareau won the opening race with Szalai fourth to take an early lead from Belgium and Germany.
Hammering home its dominance in race two when Bessieres streaked to victory with Hoareau slotting into second, the French Juniors looked in complete control, but still needed one more solid finish in the deciding race to be assured of the title again.
Putting the destination of the crown beyond doubt, Bessieres raced to his second win of the day with Szalai taking third and once all the teams’ single worst scores were dropped the French total of eight points – just one away from the best possible score – was enough to take victory by eight points from Germany with Belgium completing the podium on twenty-six.
