2025 FIM ENDURANCE WORLD CHAMPION

Australia’s Jason O’Halloran has enjoyed considerable success in Superbike racing over a long career, but he had to wait until this season for his first FIM gold medal when alongside Marvin Fritz and Karel Hanika he claimed the 2025 FIM Endurance Team World Championship (ETWC) for Yamaha Austria Racing Team (YART).

Replacing Niccolò Canepa this season, O’Halloran did not have long to wait for success when YART got their campaign under way on the top step of the podium at the legendary 24 Heures Motos at the Circuit Bugatti at Le Mans in France in April.

As a former national champion, O’Halloran knows the pressure that comes with leading a championship and after finishing third at round two – the 8 Hours of Spa Motos at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium in June – YART stuttered at round three when, competing in Japan at the Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours, both O’Halloran and Hanika fell before a technical issue put them out and slashed their advantage.

With the title up for grabs, O’Halloran along with Fritz and Hanika held their nerve at the concluding twenty-four-hour Bol d’Or 2025 in France in September where a second-placed finish was good enough for the crown.
