SPEEDWAY YOUTH

Oskar Paluch

Born on 7 June 2006 in Gorzow, Poland

2021 FIM SPEEDWAY YOUTH WORLD CHAMPION

OSKAR AWARD WINNER!

It is no secret that a passion for motorcycle racing is often passed down through the family, so it is hardly a surprise that Oskar Paluch inherited his love of speedway from his father, Piotr, who is an extremely accomplished and well-known rider in a country that is fiercely passionate about the sport.

At the tender age of fifteen, Paluch Jnr has his whole career ahead of him, but the rising Polish star is already a World-beater having claimed the FIM Speedway Youth World Championship and he regularly beats much more experienced rivals.

Back in July, just weeks after celebrating his birthday – and seven days after lifting the European crown – Paluch went global at Cloppenburg in Germany.

The track was looking good until a thunderstorm hit an hour into the event, though Paluch proved to be the master in the testing conditions and suffered just one defeat as he raced to a two-point victory over Denmark’s Nicklas Asgaard.

The Stal Gorzow team member is the first-ever Polish winner of the coveted title. Still restricted to youth events until he turns sixteen next year, Paluch is definitely a rider to watch in the future when he will hope to emulate the achievements of his compatriots Jerzy Szczakiel, Tomasz Gollob and, more recently, Bartosz Zmarzlik.
