2025 FIM TRIAL3 WORLD CHAMPION
Making his debut in elite competition this season, American sensation Ryon Land – Sherco had an immediate impact and the rising star from Kansas was rewarded with the 2025 FIM Trial3 World Championship title.
For a nation with such a long and illustrious off-road motorcycling history, it is perhaps surprising that American riders have not enjoyed more success in Trial and Land is now only the second rider from the USA to win an FIM gold medal in the sport, his title coming forty-six years after Bernie Schreiber’s initial crown in 1979.
With a passion for Trial passed down from his grandfather, Land has been based in Europe as he has chased international success and he showcased his potential with the 2024 Spanish Junior title, although his focus was always on the world stage.
Getting his 2025 campaign under way with solid two-three finishes across the opening weekend in Spain, Land then established control in Portugal with a double win before consolidating his lead in France and San Marino. Still two months short of his sixteenth birthday, he headed to the deciding round in Great Britain with a thirty-four-point advantage and Land kept his cool to put the title beyond doubt.
