2025 FIM SIDECARCROSS OF NATIONS WORLD CHAMPIONS

Awarded full FIM World Championship status for the first time last season, the 2025 FIM SidecarCross of Nations was staged alongside the FIM QuadCross of Nations in the deep, challenging sand of Heerde in the Netherlands.

After winning the 2024 title by just one point at Loket in the Czech Republic, a strong Dutch team comprising Koen Hermans/Ben van den Bogaart, Tim Leferink/Jens Vincent and Stephan Wijers/Han van Hal enjoyed home advantage and with a passionate crowd cheering them on they dominated.

Signalling their intentions in the opening moto, Leferink/Vincent raced to victory and with Wijers/van Hal bringing it home in second the Dutch were off to the best possible start.

Having wrapped up the 2025 FIM SidecarCross World Championship the previous weekend, Hermans/van den Bogaart were out next and they raced to victory ahead of Great Britain’s Brett Wilkinson/Joe Millard, but with Wijers/van Hal finishing third the home team were very much in the driving seat with one race remaining.

The deciding race was all about Dutch domination with Hermans/van den Bogaart maintaining their one-hundred per cent record at the front and Leferink/Vincent slotting into second as the Netherlands ended the day on a perfect score of seven points.
