2025 FIM SGP4 WORLD CHAMPION

Elevated to full FIM World Championship status for the first time this season, the 2025 FIM SGP4 World Championship was held at Vojens in Denmark in mid-September where home hero Tino Stjernegaard Olsen raced his way into the history books.

Designed to nurture young talent, SGP4 is a class for riders aged between eleven and thirteen on 190cc machines that were specially developed by legendary six-time FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Champion Tony Rickardsson.

Taking place as part of the Vojens Speedway Centre’s fiftieth anniversary Weekend of Champions, the fastest young riders in the world battled it out over twenty Heats with the twelve-year-old Dane emerging on top after showing maturity beyond his young age to record an impressive maximum.

Olsen was matched win-for-win by his compatriot Harry Moller through the opening three blocks of racing and even after Moller had dropped a point in his fourth Heat to eventual bronze medallist Cooper Antone from Australia, it was still too close to call when the pair finally went head-to-head in their fifth and final Heat.

With the championship on the line, Olsen kept his cool and maintained his unbeaten run to be crowned as the first-ever FIM SGP4 World Champion.
